Café Luz y Luna
A pleasant, informal setting offering you a variety of vegetarian dishes made with organic herbs and vegetables, as well as a complete menu for the meat eaters. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner from 7:00 a.m. till 11:00 p.m. Great fresh fruit smoothies, salads, and a select variety of Nica food. They also have some of the best coffee in town, and a variety of cocktails and the coldest beer in town. Very popular with locals and tourists alike. Good ambience music. La Casita.
This has to be one of the most unique spots in Esteli. Located just out of town, on the road towards Sebaco and Managua, on the right side, La Casita offers a unique tropical garden feel in an otherwise generally dry city. Open Tuesday to Sunday from 9:00 a.m. till 6:30 p.m. La Casita offers some of the best cheeses produced in Northern Nicaragua, as well as homemade whole wheat bread, yoghurt, fruit preserves and marmalades and organic vegetables and herbs. They also serve outstanding coffee and a variety of natural teas. The short trip to La Casita is well worth your time. You will love this little oasis and understand why its one of the favorite restaurants in Esteli to both city duellers as well as travelers on the road towards Managua! Coffee and Cocktails
A nice restaurant located just around the corner from the Hotel Don Vito. This is a great option if you are staying in the hotel and looking for restaurants in Esteli that are nearby! In addition to coffee and cocktails, they also have a nice a la carte menu with great food including an outstanding churrasco or steak. Restarante Cohifer
Considered one of the best restaurants in Esteli. Cohifer is located about one and a half blocks south of the back side of the Cathedral. Open daily for lunch and dinner, they offer very affordable “executive” dishes for under $7.00 US. Their regular menu includes great steaks, shrimp, pork, etc. Nice selection of sandwiches and salads also available. Full international bar. El Rincon Pinareño
A little piece of Cuba in the heart of Nicaragua! This restaurant offers the best of the Cuban cuisine with friendly, family atmosphere. The establishment offers two areas, a nice terrace on the second floor overlooking the street and a downstairs dining area. Service is good, and friendly, prices are affordable and food is delicious! Extensive menu with great value and a great central location, only 1 ½ blocks south of the Cathedral. This great location makes it one of the most popular restaurants in Esteli. Located at the Hotel Los Arcos, one block north of the Cathedral. Vuela Vuela has wifi for its guests, plus a comfortable spacious setting. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Without doubt the best steakhouse in Esteli! Located 3 blocks East of Casa de La Cultura in Esteli.
