Pelican Eye’s Resort is without doubt the most exclusive of all hotels in San Juan del Sur. Its only drawback is that it is not on the beach. Palermo Hotel and Resort
Also a deluxe resort community consisting of 2 and 3 bedroom villas. The property is located somewhat remote from the town, and the view is nice, but not spectacular. Grounds are nicely kept and the pool is great for families. Nice restaurant and bar. Because of its location, you are not within walking distance to restaurants and bars in town, which is kind of a drawback. The villas all offer full service kitchenettes, private bathroom with hot water for the rooms and airconditioning and cable TV. Hotel Victorian
Located on the main beach street across the street from the Bay, the Hotel Victorian offers Victorian architecture from the end of the XIX century with XXI century comfort. La Posada Azul
A small intimate, very inviting boutique bed and breakfast located a couple of blocks off the beach. La Posada Azul is a true gem! A very nice area for breakfast, a nice intimate swimming pool, a bar with an honor system that offers anything you want to drink and really a short walk to restaurants and bars in town. Best of all, it is far enough from the regular crowd scene and therefore pleasantly quiet. I fully recommend it! Hotel El Puerto
A small Basic 10 room hotel with few amenities, but spotless. Gertrude, the German owner is obviously a fan of cleanliness! Rooms are basic, with or without a/c and with no tv in rooms. Wi Fi only in the common porch up front where she serves coffee and cookies in the morning. Extremely affordable, a very good option if you are looking for a clean room, good bed and safe setting. Hotel Barrio Cafe

Located on the hills above San Juan del Sur, Las Palmas offers 3 bedrooms with breathtaking views of the San Juan del Sur bay. Hotel Mango Rosa
Located outside of town, on the road towards Playa Madera, quite close to both,but not really walking distance to anyone of the them. Really nice setting with a spacious pool and a nice fresh restaurant bar that is under a large thatched roof. Rooms are basically studio rooms and two bedroom units with a full kitchen a nice living room – dining room area. Owners, Greg and his wife and kids live here and are very friendly and will go out of their way to make your stay memorable. This resort is extremely family oriented and perfect to visit as a family. Greg is a licensed captain and also conducts fishing tours in the area. Rooms have all of the amenities. Really nice place! Located outside of San Juan del Sur, with a stunning view of Nacascolo Bay. You can see the back side of the statue of Christ from the hotel. Please take into mind that although you can walk, it is a lonely road and therefore unwise to do so. Very nice rooms. Located across the street from the beach, however their restaurant and bar is located right on the beach, so you definitely have outstanding beach access. 18 rooms with all of the amenities, including air-conditioning, cable TV, Wi Fi and private bath with hot shower. Located just two blocks from the beach, on a hillside affording nice views of San Juan del Sur Bay. Nice spacious studios, many with kitchenettes. Also a pleasant pool and a lovely terrace with a nice view of the ocean. No restaurant or bar, however it is really within walking distance to all of the beach restaurants and bars, so there is no need for one. Irish House
Located in town, just a four blocks from the beach. Only 4 rooms above a nice Irish Pub. Rooms are on the second floor and are spacious, with a kitchenette in them. There is no airconditioning.
